Welcome 2nd Semester Students!

I am very excited to get going! We have so much to learn and do!
We will start out by looking at manipulation of space. By the end of the semester you will be a master at using space to convey meaning. We will also look at events in the world and around us and how they affect what artists produce. Get ready to learn how to bind books, collage, sew, use wax as a painting medium, silkscreen, spray paint, make stencils, and use clay to tell stories. We will be using all kinds of materials to create art- That's why it is called mixed media.

General Schedule/Weekly
Mondays- Demos
Fridays-Critiques and Reviews of learning
Wednesday-Art in the world around us. Contemporary Artist and Issues!
